Jamie Sullivan Assitant Director of Marketing Thomson Communications

Jamie Sullivan brings over 20 years of experience in the marketing and event planning industry to her role at Thomson Communications. Prior to joining the agency, Jamie spent more than 17 years at Verizon Wireless in marketing as well as 3 years of event planning with a local non-profit organization.

As the Associate Director of Marketing for Verizon Wireless, Jamie was responsible for managing a $24 million annual budget. She has experience with advertising, marketing strategy, collateral development and production, customer retention programs and both employee and client event planning and team building. Her local non-profit work includes community service and family-focused events. Jamie also serves at the Director of Events for the Greater Newburyport Mothers and Families Club. A college athlete, Jamie swam competitively with Fordham University during her undergraduate studies and coached several youth programs post-graduate. She graduated from Fordham with a B.A. in Classics. For several years Jamie served on the planning committee for the annual Make the Link golf tournament to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH chapter. She received the prestigious Myer Saxe Award from the Alzheimer’s Association in recognition of her outstanding leadership on behalf of people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.

Jamie continues to place a high value on community involvement through volunteer work and mentoring, serving on the Executive Board of the West Newbury PTO and served as President of the Greater Newburyport Mothers and Families Club in 2016.
