Liberty Bay Credit Union has promoted Joseph Bean of Weymouth, to executive vice-president and chief lending officer. Bean previously served as senior vice president of finance and lending.
“I am excited to be a part of the future of Liberty Bay, and continuing my work with the great lending teams and members that we have here,” Bean said in a written statement.
Liberty Bay Credit Union President Lyndon Matteson said Bean will oversee all aspects of commercial, residential and consumer lending.
“Prior to joining Liberty Bay, Bean was President and CEO, serving for 38 years, of the recently acquired Hingham Federal Credit Union,” Matteson said. “Joe brings long-term experience to Liberty Bay, his prior role as CEO of Hingham Federal Credit Union is a tremendous asset as one of the leaders of our executive team.”
